CAT (C), B.Sc. Exercise Science Specialization Athletic therapy
Melissa is a graduate of Concordia University in Exercise Science: Specialization Athletic Therapy and a student at the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques in Montreal. She is a Certified Athletic Therapist CAT (C) and a Functional Movement Specialist.
Melissa is passionate about exercise, wellness and loves the outdoors. Practicing yoga regularly and learning about meditation has opened her mind to the balance between mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. Those interests got her intrigued to learn more about holistic therapies and lead her to pursue Osteopathy.
Melissa helps individuals discover all that they can do through exercise to prevent and treat injuries and lessen aches and pains. Once mobility is restored through manual treatments, her goal is to help individuals maintain those changes through therapeutic exercise. These exercises are chosen to restore mobility, gain proper muscular balance, improve proprioception while promoting postural alignment. Creating a road map to get you to where you want to be, no matter your finish line.
